Finally we're here...

I finally got myself together and created a blog for my family (my other blogs are political).

Last night Holly gave birth to our first little angel, Owen Brad Kartchner, 6 lbs. 13 oz., 19 inches long. He generally mild-mannered; only cries when he is hungry or getting prodded and poked by the nurses and doctors (I swear he is like a little science experiment with all those procedures they do). He has dark brown hair, almost black, and big blue eyes (so far, I hear they change).

The hospital network is too slow to upload photos, so that will have to wait til we get home (which will hopefully be tonight).
