Baby Owen was blessed today in sacrament meeting. It was a wonderful experience to have a lot of the family there to witness and take part in. It was especially wonderful for me to witness because I was not blessed as a baby and I think that made this an even bigger deal to me. He was able to wear the same blessing gown that Andy wore when he was blessed as a baby, and he looked super cute!... a little girly, but super cute nonetheless :) I am so grateful to have such a wonderful husband/priesthood holder. Nothing is more precious to me than seeing how much Andy loves Owen. He is a great father and I know that he will help me to raise our baby to be an extraordinary person. I am also grateful for all of our friends and family who have helped us so much and who have opened their hearts to little Obi. He is very lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful people. WE are very lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful people.
All-in-all it was a wonderful Sunday. Very memorable. Very heart warming. Very reassuring of the truthfulness of the gospel and the fact that families ARE forever.
